GoSki Terms of Use
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms apply to the GoSki app, the GoSki Pass and the email and text-message alerts GoSki sends. GoSki is operated by RAK Industries LLC, a Connecticut company (“GoSki”, “we”, “us”). By using GoSki you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Using GoSki
GoSki shows ski resort conditions, lift and trail status, snow forecasts, maps and your own ski-day recordings. This information is for planning only. It can be late, incomplete or wrong, and a resort can change lift or trail status at any time. Always follow resort signs, ski patrol and the posted rules on the mountain. GoSki is not a safety, navigation or emergency device.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email address. Please don’t misuse GoSki, interfere with how it works, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours. We may suspend accounts that do.
2. GoSki Pass
The GoSki Pass is an optional subscription sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, refunds and cancellation, and you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting your GoSki account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
3. Email and text-message alerts
GoSki Alerts tell you about the resorts you follow: lift holds, delays and reopenings, winter storm updates and snow forecasts. When you turn alerts on, you choose to get them by email or by text message (not both), and you can switch at any time on the app’s Alerts screen.
Text-message terms
- Program: GoSki Alerts, sent from a toll-free number to US and Canadian mobile numbers.
- Consent: you get texts only after you enter your number in the app and tick the box agreeing to them. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase.
- How often: message frequency varies with conditions at the resorts you follow, up to 6 messages a day. No texts are sent during your quiet hours.
- Cost: GoSki doesn’t charge for texts, but message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
- Stop: reply STOP to any GoSki text to stop all GoSki texts. We send one message confirming you’re unsubscribed. You can also turn texts off on the Alerts screen.
- Help: reply HELP to any GoSki text, or email [email protected].
- Delivery: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Alerts can be late or missed; the National Weather Service and Environment and Climate Change Canada are the official sources for weather warnings.
- Privacy: we do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their marketing. See the Privacy Policy.
Alert emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can turn email alerts off on the Alerts screen.
4. Content and maps
GoSki, its design and its software belong to us. Resort names, trail maps and other content belong to their owners. Map data and other third-party information are used under their own licenses, which are credited in the app.
5. No warranty and limits on liability
GoSki is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that GoSki or its alerts will be accurate, on time or always available. To the extent the law allows, GoSki is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss caused by relying on conditions, forecasts, lift status or alerts shown or sent by the app. Skiing and snowboarding carry inherent risks that you accept when you take part.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as GoSki changes; the date above shows the latest version. If a change matters for text messages, we will tell you before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA.
